:: The Cat and the Birds ::

Not gonna lie, I enjoy reading Aesop’s fables on my Kindle! If you haven’t read them, then damn I am showing my age. Lmao! I kid! But regardless of how old you are, you still can learn something from reading something you read as a kid. Why? Because as you get older, you get wiser…at least you would think, lol!! You are able to interpret something differently than you did during your childhood! Alright, enjoy the fable!

A Cat heard that the Birds in an aviary were ailing. So he got himself up as a doctor, and, taking with him a set of the instruments proper to his profession, presented himself at the door, and inquired after the health of the Birds. “We shall do very well,” they replied, without letting him hin, “when we’ve seen the last of you.” – A villain may disguise himself, but he will not deceive the wise.

Ain’t that the truth?! This can be from friends to spouses, to roommates, etc. etc. We have to protect ourselves at ALL times folks (Thanks Mayweather for that, lol!)!! If you’re not wise enough to see through individuals, then you’re going to be in a world of trouble. From being played like a fiddle to getting some hurt feelings…it sucks. However, you live and you learn. Take that lesson and move forward because nothing is ever new under the sun…someone will try that same BS and by that point you will be wiser to see through the deception!

Peace & Blessings
